We received an email yesterday from NHS Choices regarding a change in platform and how the provision of the services will work. We'll post something here on our Support site when we have more information but rest assured, they have told us their new platform is available so we need to get a development API key and then we'll work out the changes well in advance of the February deadline.
It should (hopefully) just be some simple configuration changes.

We've been working on a python script to allow you to download data on police forces and crimes from the police api- this can be scheduled in iShare studio to get updates on a monthly basis. Forthcoming changes to the api mean that we need to make a few adjustments before this can be released, but we'd also like to gauge interest in having an iShare "plugin" to make it even easier to configure and use. This might involve a GUI for editing the configuration, and functions in postgresql for preparing the data for use in mapserver.

Kim and others have been working hard to continually improve our documentation and have now published (version 1!) of our iShare Online help is available here and we'd really welcome your feedback.
The aim is for the online help to be the main reference manual for iShare going forward which is updated in a rolling basis. If there is something missing or you spot an error then please raise a ticket to let us know :)
